Life With Superdogs
Awards Programme
Our awards programme aims to strengthen the dog-human partnership by promoting force free training, providing a clear goal for you to work towards with your dog, and celebrating your success! By working towards your Level 1, 2 and 3 Awards you will learn new skills and unlock your dogs full potential.
How to take part:
The easiest way to take part is to join our Facebook Group Here you will be able to access our FREE video training tutorials and learn how to teach your dog the skills required for each level. Training tutorials will also be available on our YouTube Channel.
You must start with the Level 1 Award and then work your way up.
Once your dog has completed the requirements for an award, submit a video recording of them demonstrating each criteria (edited into one video) into the Facebook group for assessment. Please include your name, your dogs name, and the award level you are applying for.
Life Skills Challenges/Tricks do not need to be filmed on the same day or in the same training session. We suggest recording each criteria when they have learnt it, and then editing your video together once they have completed everything!
If you are not sure how to edit your videos into one, please create a post on the Facebook group and then submit your videos as comments on that post. This Keeps everything together and makes it easier for us to find your submissions! Any videos not submitted in line with the above will not be assessed.
Once your video has been assessed, you will be given an Award Approval Number, you will need this if you would like to order a certificate or other merchandise. If you have not quite met the criteria this time, you will be given feedback and a chance to resubmit your video. Assessment of video submissions are free.
If you would like to celebrate your success with something extra special, you can order a certificate, award ribbon, badge and/or medal from our shop. You will need to enter your Award Approval Number when purchasing.
All Life Skills Challenges and tricks must be trained using force free/positive reinforcement techniques. We do not allow the use of aversive-based training tools such as prong, shock or choke collars, or training through fear or punishment.
